# Base URL

Versioned base path and request timeout

All API endpoints are served under a versioned base path:

```
https://<your-domain>/v1/
```

Replace `<your-domain>` with your deployment's domain name.

## Versioning

The current API version is **v1**. The version prefix is included in every endpoint path, for example:

```
POST https://<your-domain>/v1/people
GET  https://<your-domain>/v1/people/user-001
POST https://<your-domain>/v1/stacks/orders/list
```

Request Timeout

All requests have a **10-second timeout**. If an operation takes longer than 10 seconds, the request is automatically cancelled and an error is returned. Design your queries to stay within this limit — for example, use pagination to retrieve large datasets in smaller batches rather than requesting everything at once.
