# Inside the Client’s AWS Account

In Option B, Flapjax provisions and manages a dedicated hosting environment inside your AWS account.

This gives your organisation full ownership, governance, and cost visibility while leveraging Flapjax’s expertise to deploy and operate the platform.

This model is ideal for teams that must keep all infrastructure within their own cloud environment for compliance, security, or internal policy requirements.

### What This Option Provides

#### **1. Full Control Within Your AWS Account**

All infrastructure is deployed into an AWS sub-account that you own and manage. You retain:

* Full access to AWS resources
* Direct billing visibility and cost control
* Ability to apply your own compliance and governance standards

#### **2. Flapjax‑Provisioned Environment**

Flapjax handles the automated provisioning of the entire environment using Terraform, including:

* Networking (VPC, subnets, routing)
* Kubernetes cluster (EKS)
* Database systems (Aurora, MongoDB)
* Caching (Redis)
* Load balancers and ingress
* IAM roles and secrets

You get the same production-ready environment as Option A, but inside your AWS account.

### Requirements From the Client

#### **1. A Fresh AWS Sub-Account**

A new sub-account under your AWS Organization is required to ensure clean isolation, clear billing, and minimal conflict with existing infrastructure.

#### **2. IAM Role or User for Provisioning**

Flapjax needs a provisioning role or user with permissions equivalent to **AdministratorAccess** for initial setup. This is only used during infrastructure deployment.
