# Filtering

#### If/Else

Split the flow into two paths based on a condition.

* **True path**, where you define conditions in the rule builder. Conditions met, the flow takes this path.
* **False path**, which runs on its own when the conditions fail. It needs no configuration.

#### Switch/Case

Split the flow into multiple named paths, each with its own conditions.

* **Cases**, as many as you need, each with a display name and conditions from the rule builder
* **Default**, a fallback path that runs when no case matches

Click **New Configuration** to add additional cases.

#### Filter

Filter items with one or more rule groups, combined by AND and OR. Inside a loop, it filters the items you loop over.

#### Loop

Repeat a set of actions once per item in a list. Loop through the records Find Records returned, or through a person's multi-value attribute.

* **Loop over**, chosen from a dropdown of available arrays. They come from the trigger, from earlier actions, or from person attributes.

Actions between the loop's Start and Stop markers run once per item.

#### Randomize Flow

A/B test by splitting traffic across multiple paths with percentage weights.

* **Paths**, up to 5, each with a name and a percentage from 0 to 100.
* **Distribute Evenly** splits the percentage equally across every path.
* Percentages must total exactly 100.
